Release of FDA’s Final Rule on DTC Drug Ads Pushed to May 2023

The FDA now promises to release its amended regulations concerning direct-to-consumer (DTC) advertisements of prescription drugs in May 2023. In last fall’s Unified Agenda of Regulatory and Deregulatory Actions, the agency said the final rule would be released in September 2022.
