Groups Want FSIS to Amend ‘Product of U.S.A.’ Definition for Meat

The USDA’s Food Safety and Inspection Service’s (FSIS) labeling policy “allows for deceptive and misleading labeling of foreign imported meat and meat products,” according to a recent petition submitted to the agency by the Organization for Competitive Markets and the American Grassfed Association.
